Garbage
Garbage pickup is made on Tuesdays and Fridays. Garbage may be placed outside for pickup no sooner than 7:00 PM the night before pickup and must be in closed containers or in strong garbage bags or boxes. If garbage is not in proper containes, the ducks will get
into the garbage and make a mess which Jerome ends up cleaning. Garbage containers must be put away by 7:00 PM the night of pick up days.
Recycling
Recycling items are picked up on Fridays and may be placed on the street no earlier than 7:00 PM the night before pickup. The containers must by put away by 7:00 PM the night of pickup. Recycling containers can be picked up in Deerfield Beach. Call 954-480-4454 to make arrangements to get your recycle bins.
Items to be recycled are glass (all colors), plastic (numbers 1, 2, or 3, rinse and remove lids), aluminum, steel and tin cans, milk cartons and drink boxes, newspapers, brown paper bags, corrugated cardboard boxes, phone books (March 1st - May 31st), pizza boxes, magazines & catalogs, junk mail, copy paper, lotto tickets, paperboard boxes, books (hard and soft bound) file folders, wrapping paper, and large cardboard(over 3 feet). They must be placed in bins, or if too large for bins, on top or alongside them. It is your responsibility to get your own bins.
Bulk Items
Bulk pickup is on Wednesdays and the items must be placed away from trees so they can be picked up by the bulk pickup truck. Items to be picked up included furniture, appliances, large boxes, Christmas trees, etc. Do not place your items in the street before 7:00 PM on Tuesdays.
Reminder
It is stated in the documents of the Association that all garbage cans and recycle containers must be kept in the fenced area of each homehowner. PLEASE COOPERATE AND STORE YOUR CONTAINERS IN A TIMELY FASHION SO PATROLS WILL NOT BE NEEDED TO MONITOR THE COMMUNITY. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!
